The following is a notice of the required Sample Audit and Write-in Count conducted by a bipartisan team on Friday, November 08, 2024 starting at 8:00 a.m. It will continue and we will recess each day and continue until completed.
The Granville County Board of Elections will hold a board meeting at the Granville County Board of Elections office located at 208 Wall Street, Oxford, NC to count absentee and provisional ballots on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. The Board will be conducting any other business to come before the Board.
The Granville County Board of Elections will hold a meeting at noon on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 208 Wall Street, Oxford, NC 27565, to conduct a recount if a recount is requested by an eligible candidate under N.C.G.S. § 163-182.7(b) or (c). Only a contest eligible to be recounted under these provisions will be subject to the recount. Members of the public may attend the meeting, but space may be limited. If no such recount is requested, the meeting will be cancelled.
