Soil and Water Conservation Workshop Scholarhips

Granville County Soil and Water Office will sponsor two Granville County students to attend the annual conservation workshop at NC State University scheduled for June 16 to June 21, 2024.

 
The Resource Conservation Workshop is a weeklong program that involves study and hands-on participation in a wide range of conservation topics. Students are housed at NC State University campus dormitories under the guidance of live-in counselors. The ideal applicant will come prepared to learn about natural resources and their management in today’s global environment.
 
Granville County Soil and Water will sponsor two rising high school juniors and/or seniors. Any current 10th or 11th grader who resides in Granville County is eligible to apply. Interested applicants should fill out the application form above and return to byron.currin@granvillecounty.org or in person to the Soil and Water Office located at 518 Lewis Street, Oxford.
