Granville County Senior Services provides Medicare counseling as part of the Senior’s Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP).
Granville County Senior Services has certified SHIIP counselors trained to assist you with questions on such issues as:
- How to enroll in Medicare A and B
- Medicare Prescription Drug Plans
- Medicare Advantage Plans
- Medicare Supplement Plans
SHIIP counseling is offered year-round by appointment and the Medicare Open Enrollment period runs from October 15 – December 7. This service is free of charge to Granville County residents.
