The purpose of this request is to receive fixed-price bids from qualified firms and organizations capable of providing asbestos abatement and general building demolition, including the necessary site remediation to re-establish existing grades of the building pad so that the site adequately drains.
Price proposals shall be submitted on the attached form no later 3:00 pm on April 24, 2024, to Granville County Development Services / Attention Scott Phillips, Director; 122 Williamsboro Street, or PO Box 877, Oxford, NC 27565. Proposals submitted after the required time will be returned to the bidder unopened. Electronic submittals will not be accepted.
Granville County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, and to be
the sole judge of equipment or services for intended purposes as deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
A pre-bid conference will be held on site at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The building
will be open at this time for bidder walk-through; this will be the only opportunity to view the building’s interiors.
Questions regarding the bid documents will be accepted no later than 5:00 pm on April 16, 2024.
