Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute § 160A-271, the Granville County Sheriff’s Office states its intention to request authorization from the Board of Commissioners to exchange certain county-owned property for store credit.
The Sheriff’s Office proposes to exchange twenty-four (24) surplus shotguns for store credit with Cross Creek Supplies located at 537 Cross Creek Road, Henderson, NC. The exchange of property will be conducted at fair market value. The exchange involves the following:
- Fourteen (14) Mossberg 12-gauge shotguns Value – $1750.00
- Four (4) Savage 12-gauge shotguns Value – $ 500.00
- Six (6) Riot 18-7 12-gauge K-120 shotguns Value – $ 750.00
Total: $3000.00
All persons interested in this exchange are invited to attend the meeting of the Board of Commissioners to be held April 17, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the Granville County Convention and Expo Center, 4185 US Highway 15 South, Oxford, NC. At that time the board intends to authorize the exchange of the properties described above.
