Members of the Granville County Board of Commissioners and County Manager Drew Cummings met with US Representative Valerie Foushee at the County Administration Office in Oxford today (Thursday, February 23).
Foushee represents North Carolina’s Fourth Congressional District, which consists of Granville, Person, Durham, Orange, and Alamance counties.
Rep. Foushee met with Commissioners Zelodis Jay, Rob Williford, Tim Karan, and Tony Cozart to discuss issues and opportunities facing Granville County and how Rep. Foushee’s office can assist on the federal level.
The Board of County Commissioners works hard to maintain productive relationships and keep open communication with Granville’s representatives in Congress as well as the NC General Assembly.
