Last night, the Granville County Board of Commissioners recognized the work of the 275th Anniversary Planning Committee whose efforts culminated in the community celebration at the Granville Athletic Park in July 2021.
Committee members were presented with a certificate recognizing their work as members of the Planning Committee as well as a complimentary copy of Lewis Bowling’s “Looking Back: 275 Years of Granville County History.”
Committee Chair Sue Hinman also presented the County Manager and her colleagues on the Board of Commissioners with a novelty hat recognizing all of the tasks they were “voluntold” to do by Commissioner Hinman and the committee.
